Irmos Technologies AG develops a solution that monitors the global structural integrity of built infrastructure, regardless of the building material and without prior knowledge of the type and location of damage. By combining intelligent algorithms with cost-effective sensors, we use vibration data to provide key metrics on the condition of structures. This data gives infrastructure owners a real-time overview of the performance of their assets, enabling them to implement predictive maintenance strategies and plan retrofits more effectively, thereby reducing costs and environmental impact and maximising safety. In the event of disasters, our solution provides real-time damage assessment and early warning alerts. The company was founded in February 2023, has a team of 12 employees at Technopark Zurich and remains a bootstrap company.

The mission of Irmos Technologies is to maximise the safe operational life of buildings and bridges by using cost-efficient sensors and intelligent algorithms. The company is growing steadily and gaining the trust of international customers in a difficult-to-penetrate market segment. The jury recognised the relevance of the problem that Irmos is addressing, and was impressed by the flexibility of the solution, the clarity of the scaling plan, and the team's mission-driven approach.
