At Liip, training is not a side issue, but rather at the heart of our corporate and learning culture. From their very first year, apprentices are actively involved in real customer projects – whether in technical implementation, workshop preparation or directly in customer meetings. This trust not only promotes their professional skills, but also their self-confidence, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team.
Our holacratic organisation enables apprentices to take on their own roles and tasks within the company – helping to shape rather than just following. Each apprentice is continuously supported by the same mentor. In an environment with flexible working models, sports activities and massages, the focus is on their well-being.
By doubling the number of apprenticeships within a year (from 7 to 16), we are demonstrating our active commitment to promoting young talent in ICT. Through internships, future days, our own trainee days and close cooperation with initiatives such as Powercoders, we promote diversity and open our doors wide.
Liip now trains young ICT talent in various professions (computer scientists EFZ, digital business developers EFZ and interactive media designers) and three languages – spread across five locations. We invest time, trust and passion in our apprentices – because they are helping to shape our future.
Liip SA fully integrates its apprentices into its innovative holacracy model, combining traditional training content with agile self-organisation. The company promotes diversity with a high proportion of female employees and is rapidly expanding its number of apprentices. Apprentices are fully integrated into projects in two language regions (German/French) and take on responsibility at an early stage. This forward-looking training model sets an example for the entire industry.
