At CONVOTIS Switzerland Ltd., ICT vocational training is not a side issue, but is strategically anchored. The training of young talent is deeply rooted in our culture and corporate strategy. We offer training in three professions – mediamatician EFZ, IT specialist EFZ application development and IT specialist EFZ platform development – and focus on individual learning paths, interdisciplinary experience and real-world practical assignments. While mediamaticians gain insight into all areas (administration, marketing & sales, development, cloud & security), application developers work in-depth in development, and platform developers in the cloud & security department. Trainees are involved in real customer projects and take on responsibility within the team. We support their development with individual training plans, regular feedback and targeted further training, such as certificates in cloud or AI technologies. Satisfaction, completion rates and permanent employment show the success of our approach. By sponsoring and actively participating in the Young Talents Hackathon 2024, we are reaffirming our commitment to the next generation of ICT professionals.
