The blockchain solution Modum.io combines innovation in a hardware and software solution and brings together information and value flow for the transport of critical goods. Today, the focus is on transporting medical products over the last mile to pharmacies, hospitals or doctors, for example. Upon delivery, information is automatically transmitted to defined recipients along the transport chain when the postman acknowledges the delivery. Tracking takes place along the entire supply chain, temperature fluctuations and vibrations are recorded. In the future, meteorological data will even be used to plan transports of perishable goods, for example, in such a way that they can take place under optimal weather conditions. These are examples that illustrate the development potential of this integrated solution and impress the jury.
