flawa iQ AG, Flawil

Short description

flawa iQ is Europe's first smart first aid system that rethinks workplace safety. Instead of conventional emergency kits that have to be checked manually, flawa iQ offers a fully digitalised system with four core components:
1. The intelligent kit is equipped with sensors and RFID technology. It detects what is missing or about to expire and automatically triggers a replenishment order if necessary.
2. The single-use injury modules cover common minor accidents and support first responders with instructions in emergency situations. Each module has an expiry date that is automatically recorded.
3. The iQ Portal provides companies with an overview of all case locations, fill levels and consumption. Data-based analyses provide important information about accident patterns and enable prevention rather than reaction.
4. The integrated alarm function enables first responders to call for internal support within seconds at the touch of a button.

The result: no first aid supplies storage, no inspection rounds, no uncertainty. Companies save time and resources, automatically comply with legal requirements and improve their safety culture in the long term. In the event of an audit, those responsible are ready to provide information at the touch of a button.
flawa iQ is not an add-on to traditional first aid – it is a redefinition of it.

Jury Statement

flawa iQ is setting a new market standard in workplace first aid: over the past two years, the first digital, IoT-supported first aid system with automatic replenishment logic and the cloud-based iQ portal as a control centre have been introduced, automating end-to-end processes (from replenishment to customer integration). In the evaluation, flawa iQ impressed with its strategy and transformation management, its corporate and leadership culture, its stringent innovation processes, its excellent ICT and data base, and its digital sustainability. The bottom line: a market-oriented, scalable case that convincingly combines digitalisation, security and sustainability.
